CSV Column Editor: Select, Reorder, Rename & Filter
Restructure local CSV columns and filter rows while preserving quoted newlines, leading zeroes and exact string values.
Enabling local controls…
1. Parse CSV
Data stays in this browser. No upload, storage or tool analytics events.
UTF-8, 5 MiB, 20,000 data rows, 100,000 cells including headers, 200 columns. Supports LF/CRLF and quoted newlines; removes one leading BOM. Names and values are not trimmed or coerced.
2. Edit columns and filter
Paste data or load a sample, then press Parse columns.
How to use this tool
Parse pasted CSV or a UTF-8 file with an explicit delimiter. Select and rename columns, move them with the arrow buttons, optionally filter a column, then apply and export the complete CSV.
When not to use it
Not a spreadsheet or automatic data repair service. Empty or duplicate headers and ragged rows are rejected. Values stay strings; spreadsheet software may still interpret formulas or leading zeroes when opening CSV.
