DNS Record Builder: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT & SRV
Build explicit DNS zone-file records locally, inspect names, TTLs and quoted TXT segments, and copy the result without querying or publishing DNS.
Enabling local controls…
1. DNS record fields
Build one IN zone-file record locally; no DNS, ownership, existing-record check or publishing. Origin expands @/relative owners; targets require a trailing dot, with root target '.' allowed for MX/SRV. Common ASCII names and pre-encoded IDN A-labels only; no IDNA validation. Encode Unicode domains first.
Combined input: 1 MiB; one record output: 1 MiB. Labels ≤63 bytes; complete wire name ≤255 bytes; no CR/LF or controls. TXT ≤65000 UTF-8 bytes / 256 chunks, ≤255 bytes each; non-ASCII uses decimal byte escapes. CNAME at zone apex rejected; review conflicts with existing records yourself.
2. Zone-file record
Fill the fields or load a sample, then build.
How to use this tool
Choose the record type, provide its owner and explicit fields, then review syntax and TXT byte boundaries. Test with your DNS provider before publishing.
When not to use it
Zone-file text is not a provider API payload or proof of ownership, propagation, mail delivery or valid DNSSEC. Existing zone conflicts and delegation require separate checks.
