Image Diff Viewer: Divider, Overlay & Pixel Differences
Compare local static images side by side, with a keyboard divider or overlay, then export bounded RGBA pixel differences without automatic resizing.

Static PNG, 8-bit JPEG, WebP only. Up to 20 MiB / 4 MP per image; 8192 px per side. Animation and damaged containers are rejected; native decoding can still fail. Native decoding controls orientation; WebP EXIF orientation support differs by browser. Color, transparent edges and encoding quality depend on the browser. Original metadata is not preserved. Files stay in page memory: no upload or storage.
Comparison preview
Load two images. Sample B changes 64 pixels.
A pixel changes when any RGBA channel differs by more than the threshold, including transparent pixels. Red marks changes; unchanged pixels are faded. Equal decoded pixels do not mean equal file bytes; this is not a perceptual quality score. Use the slider or arrow keys for divider/overlay controls.
How to use this tool
Load two images, inspect dimensions and choose a preview. For matching dimensions, set a per-channel threshold, calculate and download the difference PNG.
When not to use it
Decoded pixel equality is not file-byte equality or a perceptual quality score. Different dimensions are not resized and receive no misleading difference percentage.
