Invisible Character Inspector: Spaces, Zero Width & Bidi
Locate selected invisible Unicode characters, inspect positions and escapes, and deliberately remove chosen characters without silently changing the original.
Enabling local controls…
1. Inspect before removing
Data stays in page memory. Up to 1 MiB UTF-8; first 200 findings shown. Unpaired UTF-16 surrogates fail.
ZWJ, ZWNJ, variation selectors and bidi controls may be required for language or emoji. This checks selected categories, not all Unicode or security.
2. Code points and output
Load a sample or paste text, then inspect.
How to use this tool
Inspect text, review the detected code points and positions, choose only the character types you intend to remove, then preview and copy the cleaned text.
When not to use it
Joiners, variation selectors and directional controls can be intentional language or emoji content. A clean report is not proof of safety, and this is not a complete Unicode security scanner.
