Subtitle Workbench: SRT, WebVTT & Millisecond Shift

Convert SRT and WebVTT text locally with a constant millisecond shift, cue timelines and explicit consent before losing WebVTT IDs or settings in SRT.

Subtitle source and timing shift

Up to 1 MiB and 2,000 cues; 50 per page. Order and overlaps are retained. Negative shifted times reject the whole conversion without clamping.

Text only: no audio/video playback, transcription, translation or FPS drift correction. Cue markup is shown as text, never executed as HTML. Inputs remain in page memory.

Timeline and complete subtitles

Paste subtitles and convert. Editing revokes the old export.

Paste subtitles, choose output and integer milliseconds, convert and inspect cue order or overlaps. Copy or download the full UTF-8 CRLF result.

When not to use it

Negative shifted timestamps reject the whole conversion. Advanced STYLE, REGION and NOTE blocks are unsupported. No playback, transcription, translation or FPS repair.
