SVG Path Inspector: Commands, Endpoints, Bounds & Length

Inspect bounded SVG d path data locally, preview commands and endpoints, and read native approximate length and stroke-free bounds without loading SVG files.

Enabling local controls…

SVG path data

Supports M/L/H/V/C/S/Q/T/A/Z, relative coordinates, repeated parameters, exponents and arc flags. Endpoints are not curve control points; only the first 200 endpoints are marked.

Only bounded, parsed d data reaches a native path. SVG/HTML markup, URLs, negative arc radii and invalid flags are rejected. No external resources, scripts or URL storage.

Path, endpoints and geometry

Enter a path or load a sample, then inspect. Editing clears old results.

Native getBBox excludes stroke; getTotalLength is a browser approximation and last digits can differ. This is not an SVG sanitizer, optimizer or exact geometry proof.

How to use this tool

Paste only path d data, inspect supported commands and fix syntax positions. Review native geometry and download the complete command report.

When not to use it

This is not an SVG sanitizer or optimizer. Length is browser-approximated, bounds exclude strokes and endpoint markers do not represent all curve control points.
