Unicode Normalizer: NFC, NFD, NFKC & NFKD
Compare four Unicode normalization forms, inspect code-point changes and copy complete text locally without overwriting the original.
Enabling local controls…
1. Preserve and compare text
Data stays in page memory; no upload or storage. Limit: 1 MiB UTF-8; unpaired UTF-16 surrogates are rejected.
Runs in a local worker with a 5-second timeout. Extreme combining-mark order may time out; the whole input is rejected without partial output. Cancel anytime.
NFKC / NFKD collapse circled, width and ligature distinctions and may lose meaning. Normalization is not a security check; results use your browser’s Unicode implementation.
2. Normalization results
Paste text or load a sample, then compare.
How to use this tool
Enter text or load the combining-mark example, compare all four forms and their code points, then copy the form your receiving system requires.
When not to use it
Compatibility normalization can erase meaningful distinctions. This is not transliteration, spelling correction, spoofing detection or an identity check; keep the original.
