URI Template Tester: RFC 6570 Expansion
Expand URI templates with explicit variables, inspect operators and encoding, and copy the result without requesting the generated address.
Enabling local controls…
1. Expand a URI template
Local processing; no URL requests or execution. Combined input: 1 MiB UTF-8; 2,000 expressions; output: 4 MiB.
RFC 6570 Level 4: 8 operators, Unicode prefixes :1–9999, list/map explode *. Values: strings, null, string lists/maps; quote numbers/booleans. Ordinary expansion re-encodes %; +/# preserve valid %XX and reserved characters. Undefined variables and empty collections are omitted. No reverse matching.
Do not enter credentials or secrets. Expansion, copy and download retain actual parameters; sharing a URI can expose them. This tool never opens, shares, stores or sends the URI.
2. Expansion result
Enter a template and JSON, then expand.
How to use this tool
Enter a template and a JSON object of supported variables. Review each expansion and the supported value shapes before copying the complete result.
When not to use it
Expansion is not URL validation, a request or a routing guarantee. Reserved operators can preserve delimiters; never treat an expanded value as a trusted destination.
